The idea of writing books occupied my mind long before the actual writing of them began to occupy my time in my 40s. Writing has never been the problem for me; it’s just been getting to writing. But somehow, I got to writing and books got written. Slowly, but surely, books happened.

In the 2001 movie, A Knight’s Tale, Geoffrey Chaucer proclaims, “I’m a WRITER, I give the truth scope.” It’s every writer’s challenge not to manipulate truth but to mediate it—to translate, elaborate, illustrate, and celebrate it. These are my attempts at giving truth scope.
